LIS6271: Makerspace Opportunities and Desired Outcomes: Voices From Young People

For this paper, I described the qualitative and quantitative research methodologies of a study on makerspaces in libraries done by Li and Todd. I discussed their sampling strategy, data collection methods, and the major themes that emerged as a result of their data analysis.

LIS6271: Addressing K-12 Students' Pandemic Learning Loss Through Equitable Collaborative STEAM Activities in Makerspaces

This was a group project in which my partners and I discussed the benefits of makerspace STEAM activities in rectifying pandemic learning loss among K-12 students. Makerspaces are growing in popularity as a component of school libraries. Consequently, my partners and I agreed delving into the research on their ability to impact pandemic learning loss would be a worthwhile opportunity.
